Was this expressive design functional, or simply a case of the studio pushing boundaries for the sake of it? The longer I sat with it, the more it revealed itself. BMW has shifted the canvas. The exterior remains timeless art in motion, while the interior becomes art in presence.
Ambient lighting isn’t just illumination here, it’s the mood. Whether you choose a personalized setting or one of the predefined options, each transforms the cabin’s character in a way that feels deliberate. The Smoke White perforated and quilted Veganza seats, paired with Open Pore Ash Grey-Blue Fine-Wood trim, tie the interior together with a sophistication that feels curated rather than configured. It’s a space that doesn’t just invite you in. It makes you want to stay.
Of course, BMW’s motto of “The Ultimate Driving Machine” is more than a tagline. It’s a promise. The Legacy Edition delivers on it.
